No relationship will have a long life if it is not based on the generosity of both. In this way there will be mutual trust and support, there will be joy in making the other person happy, without repressing one’s own individuality and self-love.
If it is true that the union between two people is the synchronization of their ideals and goals, then when one of them (or both) requires the other to give up their dreams and ideals, then there is no real union. There is only exploitation, misunderstanding, and selfishness.
